Lightest Double StrollerIf you're looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded size are key factors to consider. When not in use, choose a stroller that is easy to handle and small in size. This will allow it to put it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and international roads. The most lightweight strollers feature a simple, easy fold that lets them stand up on their own. This eases the burden on the parent's body. Many also come with a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.Kolcraft Cloud PlusCreated for families that are on the move. Compact and light weight, it has an easy fold with one hand. All-terrain wheels, front suspension and multi-position reclining seat accommodate children up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents with a large storage basket as well as 3-tier extended canopy with the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection. The Cloud earned one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to a flimsy feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that is dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This is a bad option for those seeking a budget option. It's not the most light stroller but it's got enough features to make it worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can leap over curbs with minimal effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that drift off course when trying to accomplish the same thing. The Cloud's low, knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push it with your legs suspended in the air, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned. In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. Close it is a little more difficult. You must slide the slider and then press a large white button. This can be a hassle especially if you're trying to manage children while doing it.The Cloud comes with a tiny but spacious storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate an enormous diaper bag. The basket is narrow, and you may need to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray each with two cup holders. But both are too small for larger cups or bottles. The Kolcraft brand has been in operation since 1946 and is a third generation, family-owned company. They started out manufacturing crib pads and diapers however, they now manufacture a variety of baby products, including highchairs as well as infant car seats. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.Jeep Destination Ultralight SBSJeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's great to travel with. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat to make it easy to carry and store. It also features independently reclining seats, large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with windows that peek out and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate kids of different heights. It also has a one step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved. The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also fantastic for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats and therefore your children must be at least 6 months old and have a solid neck control to ride in the front seat. It does come with a nice, three panel sun canopy, though and each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for the parents.Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It has a super simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily. The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but it has a few distinct differences. It's also slightly more expensive, but it offers greater maneuverability and an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+If you're seeking a stroller which is light but packed with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months of age and up.Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't come with locking capabilities, so it might not be the best choice for rocky or hilly terrain. It maneuvers well on pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces, though it's an excellent option for most families. This stroller is one of the most lightweight double strollers with large features in a sleek compact design. The quick-close feature lets you to fold it down with just one hand and is small enough to store easily in your trunk or garage. The recline feature is simple to use, however it's not a perfect flat. For taller children, there may be legs hanging out when in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking sun than some other options in our best double strollers review. The stroller is light enough to to navigate through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are located close to the ground. Its only flaw is its relatively small storage space, which is uncomfortable when filled with kids' toys.Joovy is a family-owned business that makes unique functional, high-quality and durable baby products. Their line of products includes innovative baby bottles, such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and a unique raincover that fits an array of popular strollers. The company's products are reasonably priced, and they usually have fun designs that draw children. In our tests on double strollers, we look at multiple aspects to determine how easy the stroller is to use, including how easy it is to fold and set up, adjust the safety harness and close and open the brakes, lift and carry the stroller like you would put it into a trunk of a car and then install and remove an infant car seat (if applicable). We also evaluated the strength and durability of each model, as well as whether it comes with an adult tray that can be used for both child tray. The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top rating for ease of use in our most recent update of the best double strollers guide, and also one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall.
